Delete your Remi account
For Remi: Personal Cyber Score, published by Cythentic, Inc.
Last updated 7 September 2026
Option 1 — delete it yourself, in the app
- Open Remi: Personal Cyber Score and sign in.
- Tap the Score button at the top right to open your score panel.
- Scroll to Your Account.
- Choose Delete my account.
- Type your email address exactly, to confirm. This step is deliberate: it stops a stray tap from erasing your history.
The deletion happens straight away. There is no waiting period and no "are you sure" grace window in which we quietly keep it.
Option 2 — ask us
Email corey@cythentic.com from the address on the account, with the subject Delete my account. We will confirm by reply once it is done. Allow up to 30 days, though in practice it is far quicker.
What is deleted
- Your Personal Cyber Score, every answer behind it, and your score history.
- Your email address and first name.
- Your chat history with Remi.
- Your progress: chapters completed, fixes done, badges, and challenge enrolment.
- Your household membership, and the link between any household you created and your address.
- Any notification tokens for your devices.
- Any data-broker exposure scans run for you, including the profile used to run them and the results.
- The link between your address and any in-app purchase.
What is kept, and why
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Payment records held by Stripe or Apple | Tax and accounting law requires a seller to keep records of a sale. These sit with the payment processor, not with Remi, and are governed by their retention policies. | As required by law |
| A refund marker, if your purchase was refunded | A single flag recording that a refunded purchase must not be re-granted. Without it, a replayed payment message from Stripe could hand back access you no longer have. It holds no score, no answers, no chat. | Indefinitely |
| Anonymous, aggregated counts | Totals such as "how many people finished a checkup this week". These carry no email address, no name and nothing that identifies you. | Indefinitely |
Deleting some data without deleting your account
Where the data-broker exposure scan is available to you, its results and the profile used to run them can be removed on their own from the privacy section inside the app, keeping your score and your account. Otherwise, email corey@cythentic.com and say what you want removed.
